can't change azure cloud in Azure Extention

I am using the Azure extension in Visual Studio Code I have the extension configured to an Azure Cloud Subscription but I want to reconfigure the extension to Azure US Government. there is no where in the extension to do that. I used VSC command pallet to log off of azure cloud and into azure us government and I am still seeing azure cloud resources in the extension

You can change the cloud environment using the microsoft-sovereign-cloud.environment setting.
