Install WSL2.
Install OpenVPN. (Disable it in Autostart & disable the OpenVPN service - tried to fix it by doing this).
Try getting an internet connection within WSL e.g. ping a domain or IP.
Expected Behavior
Normal WSL with internet connection.
Actual Behavior
e.g. I can't ping either ip addresses like 8.8.8.8 (From 172.28.209.182 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable) or domains like google.com.
I never had a problem with the internet connection in my WSL install until I installed the OpenVPN client we're required to use for university. As stated before I disabled it in autostart & stopped the service, still not working.
I'm aware there are other issues with similiar problems with Cisco AnyConnect etc. on here.
I tried some solutions, nothing worked. I'm quite desperate now.
