Can confirm as well for build 25905. The issue has also affected other components using virtualization: Windows Subsystem for Android won't launch; Sandbox and Microsoft Edge in Application Guard will crash at start with error code 0x80070057.

I read from reddit that this issue only affects computers with AMD processor. My computer is also with AMD Ryzen.

Just as an FYI: I think this may also be breaking NAS Samba (SMB) connections. I'm seeing the WSL2 failure on my AMD machine, but the SMB problem is showing up on both AMD and Intel based systems. Rolling back the update on my AMD machine does restore functionality of both WSL and SMB.

EDIT : a rollback to the previous build (25393.1) work as a temporary fix for me.

需要尽快修复，影响太多了，hyper-v、wsa、wsl、sanbox 等，hyper-v 虚拟机如果在升级25905之前是保存状态，非关机状态时可以正常启动的，但是如果时关机状态就无法启动

Looks like an error with Windows itself, not WSL. I use an Android emulator called "Memu" that's also broken with the current insider build. Rolling back solved the issue.
