Hi all,
Something that I thought over a lot lately as I've been working with Nixos and the Linux Kernel.
It would be incredibly useful to be able to treat the WSL as a dual-boot drive. This would mean it starts headless inside of Windows, but through the grub menu boots normally with a full WM.
The difficulty would be ensuring compatibility between both sides, but I would find great value in this if I need to get direct access to Linux rather than how it runs in WSL.
I'm open to help how I can, but I am also aware this may not be entirely the direction Microsoft wants to take this.
Perhaps there is a work around by using mounts (Install a Linux distro on a drive in dualboot form, then hardmount that to a directory that Microsoft treats as WSL.
Any advice or thoughts are appreciated :)
