How to get bridge mode or connect to Wifi Dongle on Ubuntu WSL

Hi there,

I am currently on a company laptop with host-based firewall without administrator access. I have currently installed Windows Subsystem for Linux. First of all, I have tried to get USB access to WSL however when I click on the following file:

usbipd-win, even with temporary admin access the error will still show "The installation package could not be opened. Verify that it is not corrupted or damaged, and that you have sufficient permissions to access it."

As such, 2) I would like to connect to a WiFi Dongle on WSL Ubuntu?

As the machine is both connected to VPN and local network, however the VPN takes precedence and I have no local network. Is there a way to allow both at the same time?

3. Lastly, it is possible ot set NAT or bridge like what I did in Vmware workstation?
