Using external SSD for swap

Hey,

I wanted to use an external ssd for swap space of wsl. Does anyone know how I can do this? My previous approaches didnt work.

Update:

So I created a vhdx on my ssd and it is also shown in wsl under /mnt/e/swap.vhdx but when I am specifying the path in the .wslconfig it says it cant find the path. I tried both the windows path with swapFile=E:\swap.vhdx and the wsl path with "swapFile=/mnt/e/swap.vhdx.

Has anyone made something similar working and could help me?
