Version 2.x non-prerelease date?

I'm wondering when the 2.x version of WSL 2 will leave the pre-release state and be officially released? I'm really liking some of the improvements in it over the 1.x, particularly with the 100% cpu issue with sleep/hibernate being resolved along with the memory reclaiming. I can't find any information on when this will happen. Is there a link to a roadmap? Also interested in when the memory reclaim will enter official release and not just experimental.
