PowerToys run is not working. #6270
Comments
Still having the same issue that PT Run does not open when the hotkey is pressed. I do see PowerLauncher running in task manager. I've attached log file. |
Same here, after updating to v0.21.1 yesterday. It worked in v0.20.1 without any problems before the update. |
sorry about this @Chandru-25 @rdorris @gtroeno , closing this against #6060, working on it there. please add to that thread! closing as duplicate, lmk if you don't think this is the issue @Chandru-25 |
@saahmedm Can this be reopened please. Was told that 6060 is for a different issue. |
@rdorris I've dug through a bunch of issue threads in relation to this and it seems #6060 is implementing a "feature" that should resolve this issue, which is why this issue was closed against it. Although that thread shouldn't be used for reporting the bug, it is in relation to resolving the issue by implementing a feature to the runner. As such, it's mainly used for discussing how to implementing said feature. While I'm not an MS developer or PT contributor, I hope that helps clear things up a bit. I get that it's frustrating, which is why I've been digging through these issue threads trying to find a fix for myself. I think we just have to be patient for it to be fixed as it seems that the devs understand why it isn't working as intended and are working on a resolution to it. |
