Summary of the new feature/enhancement

It would be great if the image resizer had more compression and formatting options, such as progressive rendering (super useful for web devs and other stuff too). Squoosh for example has lots of options. I don't mind not having all of them obviously, not everybody uses it, but it could be useful! Obviously the image resizer is not an image editing tool, but it would be great if it had a bit more options, maybe in advanced settings or something like the mockup in #1053

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

Squoosh is open source, so maybe there's a couple of things you could use from it, if the licence permits.

Hi @jakobbouchard, can you be more targeted here in feedback. this is too vague and open ended.

The mockup in #1053 i'm pretty sure is everything that currently is there.

Hi, so by more compression options, I mean stuff like a quality slider for JPEG, maybe an option to use different algorithms too. For the format options, I think I was repeating myself a bit, since I meant having options to save in JPEG, PNG, WebP, etc. I would also really like to have a progressive rendering checkbox, since it’s a really useful feature in web dev.

These are really the features I’d personally like, however, maybe some of the features of squoosh.app could be nice, but I don’t think I use much of them other than quality sliders and progressive rendering.

I don’t think I saw these options in the mockups, but I may have missed it.

the hard thing with that is if you have a mix of images. Some are relevant for some formats and others are for others. I think this will lead to confusion. If you have GIF and JPG's. one needs a color palette where other is compression.
