The slot 'horizon' & 'horizon method' are commented out of the Biosample class slots list in nmdc.yaml. Why?

Both still appear on the submission portal.

horizon is also commented out in mixs.yaml?

Resolution:

• Determine why horizon & horizon method are commented out in nmdc.yaml or mixs.yaml (Mark & Montana)
• Update slot usage and information (Montana)
• Ensure submission portal is consistent with NMDC schema (Mark / Kitware)

NEON has an "M" horizion. This is invalid... M = Mineral = the A + B horizons.

Solution
Make soil horizon multivalued

horizon in MIxS has been given an ID that has been used by other terms. This lack of 1:1 the NMDC schema can't handle it so had to leave it out.

• Will need to resolve this to same submission portal metadata into mongo.
