Considerations to IPv6 protection support:
------------------------------------------
Status: Not Implemented.
EUID := derived from MAC
* use the bridge hook to add a permit for autoconf-addresses (based on EUID)
* will always break privacy extension
* should otherwise be fine with all autoconf clients
* permit all link local addresses or expect the client to use fe80::EUID
* might break some clients?
* require clients to use statefull DHCPv6
* static addresses just as with DHCPv4
* even temporary address spaces can be handed off by DHCP server to the client
-> so we could even have privacy extension on ??
* the client can use different DUID-Types (LL aka MAC, LLT aka MAC+Timestamp, EN aka vendor assigned), only two of them carry the MAC
* DUID-LL and DUID-LLT seem to be common
* ISC DHCP Server can use DUID-based MAC for host statement, though not officially supported
* others use the used link-local address or even the bare ethernet MAC, though that would not work with DHCP relaying
* a) using the source mac of DHCP request
* will always work fine but clients might be able to spoof DUID and thus getting permitted to use somebody elses IP
* b) dervice MAC for ebtabless from DUID
* will only work with LL and LLT based DUIDs
* check with rapid-option
* Prefix Delegation: DHCPv6 can be used to request prefixes to be *routed* by the client
* requires support on the router to actually route them ;)
* we could add ebtables rules for this as well, as they will look like temporary addresses rules
* Protocol: IPv6 UDP Port 546, 547
* Client->Server Request: <link-local>:546 to [ff02::1:2]:547
* Server->Client Reply: <link-local>:547 to <link-local>:546
