Hi Michael,
when I import a model from the google 3d warehouse (converting it to obj with sketchup), the Kinect sensor fails to create a valid pcd file.
Other sensors seem to work well.
as for Kinect, the output is:
nan nan nan 2.350988561514729e-38 -1
for every data point.
When I try to create a pgm file from the scan, I dont get any idea what to do with the content. There is no header explaining the format as far as I can see in a hex viewer. Thus, it cant be a valid pgm file, I think...
Maybe I missed some settings in the kinect sensor?
Maybe I have some misconfigurtion in the sensor range setting, which lead to overflow in larger areas?
However, the label of the point (-1) indicates, that no model has been found??
