Here is a quick illustration of some different design concerns for the numeral one. Most of the fonts in our library live within the constraints of this illustration.

  • pen style

You mean across the different designs? Seems easy, its just different pair-point widths and angles..?

  • apex trimming

That seems easy to handle with pair-points, the right side has co-positioned points.

  • open/closed loops

That's seems easy, its just moving the point down-right to close it.

  • diminished tail curvature

That seems easy, its just a low tension

  • simplification

That's easy, its just moving points and adjusting tension/direction values

  • lack of alignment to head/base lines
