Live step recording finger drum style

Hi Mebitek,

since the Performer is also a great drum sequencer imo, I really would love to see this live playing feature.

Wouldn´t it be cool, if one could record a sequence by, let´s say, holding down "Play" button and then pushing "Next" for adding steps or pushing "Prev" for deleting steps (like the Detroit Pink87 sequencer works, or the tap edit mode on the Erica Synths drum sequencer).

Would that technically be possible and to be changed in the firmware without beeing to much of a deal for you (excuse my ignorance, I know nothing about coding)?
