As the current name of the project is not specific, one cannot refer to it easily. This issue thread is for centralizing ideas to rename this project.

• Problem-based OPTIMIZER
• algorithm from which the solution "pop" out

Name: Kopter

Inspiration:

• Knowledge-based OPTimizER
• idea of helicopter, as if it allows you to "fly" (explore) above the solution space to reach "high" (i.e. better) solutions

Inconvenients:

• brand name used for quadricopter toys

• Apo, a god of mountains in Inca mythology -> the best solution is on the highest "mountain peak" of the solution space
