Hang / unlimited memory use with simp on trivial function not occurring in Goal

The following Coq file:

Require Import Equations.Prop.Equations.

Equations Test (a : bool) : bool :=
  Test false := true;
  Test true := false.

Goal (False->False) -> False.
simp Test.

requires time proportional memory (on my laptop about 5GB/s) and does not stop (at least before memory usage is 100 GB).
