Pitch

Add options to the account and federation moderator panels for temporary actions:

  • Temporarily mute/limit/suspend. When the timer runs out:
    • Remove the mute/limit/suspend, or
    • Present the account/domain to the moderators in a review queue for taking another look
  • Allow putting accounts on a review queue without any other moderation actions, e.g. if you want to keep an eye on a new signup to check back if they are behaving themselves / need help.

Motivation

Users can temporarily mute another account, but moderators can't. A temporary mute might be useful when somebody needs to cool their heels, and you won't want to forget to let them post normally again. Temporary suspension would also be a nice feature, but probably more difficult to pull off, since you'll be wanting them not to lose their follow relationships.

A remote server might be spamming you because it's under attack, and you'll only want to suspend until it has fixed its problem.
