What do people think about disabling meta-data plots by default in annotation display? They're currently enabled by default.

I ask because I never actually use them, and they make layout painful on multi-plots/subplots.

(I realize that almost nobody uses this feature anyway, but I wanted to ask before making any changes to default behavior.)

I haven't used this feature much, but this seems reasonable to me.

I used it and found it useful, but I don't care if its default is False from now on.
