Curious on supported browsers for javascript based bookmark method

Even though looks like this project is abandoned for updates, curious to wonder which browsers were known to work for the javascript based method since I see that the javascript/mobile bookmarks page mentions * not all browsers are supported.

Noticed it invokes popup of the tool on Firefox and mobile Chrome (but couldn't bookmark it on mobile Chrome). Safari and mobile Safari didn't trigger popup nor wasn't able to bookmark it on desktop Safari.
