Continued developement and problem in weight ranking

Hello!

It's really sad that there doesn't seem to be any continued development on Pastec. There's really nothing like it out there in the open source space. (At least none I know of)
It was working pretty well for us but there's a point with around 200k indexed images where the weight ranking seems to break down.

Similar images for a lookup are not picked up for further processing because it's getting culled at the reranking of weights phase where 300 are picked among all the indexed images.
I've tried to fix this but sadly I don't have much luck.

If anyone is reading this, has any tips or anything else noteworthy to say, please respond. :)
