@vanshaldotcom Test using the default Magento. Completely disable your theme and plugins that customize Magento.

I discovered that my theme for example uses an extension called ajax suite, and one of the features is "ajax cart". This feature prioritizes the button call in favor of the theme, and for this reason the Facebook event is not executed.

Contact your theme and request a fix.
If you know programming, you can create a function within your theme's script to call the Facebook event.
