I've encountered an issue. When I click on a different MIDI lane in Ableton, the entire plugin window of Magenta becomes and stays empty. The plugin functions correctly upon opening, but the issue arises as soon as another MIDI lane is clicked.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Ableton Live
  2. Make two MIDI lanes
  3. Load Magenta on first lane
  4. Click / select second lane
  5. Click back on first lane where Magenta is loaded
  6. Observe that the entire plugin window is empty now

Ableton Live Version: 11.3.21

Max4Live log error messages:

node.script: Node script not ready can't handle message closing
node.script: Node script not running, can't handle 'script stop'
jsliveapi: Live.Clip.Clip.set_notes is deprecated since Live 11.0. Please use Live.Clip.Clip.add_new_notes or Live.Clip.Clip.apply_note_modifications instead.

Also running into this on Live 12.0.2

Same issue on Live 12.0.10. Your workaround to bring up another window works perfectly. Thanks. It would be better if the dev could fix the issue.

You can also control it from localhost:3333 in your browser
