Client Hangs with beachball on macOS #5928
Comments
It's can be Magnet, Contexts or other third party software compatibility issue with java. Related to #4920 |
Ok thanks, I'll see if i can figure out which app is causing the hang. |
Magnet was causing my Xmage to crash as well. Disabled Magnet and have zero issues now. |
@Ancientfall how did you figure out that it was magnet? I'm not running magnet, so not sure how to determine which program might be causing the hang. |
@vishvananda Do you have any 3rd Party programs that also use Java? You need to look and see what extra programs you have running on your mac. I just went through my status bar at the top and disabled programs one by one to see if anything changed. |
Has this been resolved and/or rendered obsolete? |

Xmage is hanging on osx at random times when dialog boxes open. I can get it to reliably hang by trying to load a decklist in the start game dialog. I see the standard mac beachball and my only option is to force quit the client and restart it.
