I don't think we need to support poorly formatted Word documents, and it's clear from the file that this was originally a PDF that was converted to a Word doc with a "save as" or some other converter (for example, it has trim marks and an .indd file name in hte footer). As far as egalleys go, we've already decided that we'll only support original manuscripts, right? Do pickups from other designers generally get egalleys without our process? If not, then we just need to remind people that only original manuscripts need to go into egalleymaker, and the rest don't get egalleys.
