Is there a possibilty you could add the following code to the next release please?

        """

        :param dashboard_name:
        :return:
        """
        get_dashboard_path = "/dashboards/db/%s" % dashboard_name
        r = self.api.GET(get_dashboard_path)
        return r

thank you for your suggestion. We recently forked this repository to ¹, see #88. Can you imagine submitting a pull request there in order to bring your improvement into the subsequent release?
