Feedback for a 7.x version

The only thing I miss from the 6.x branch is the ability to make the thumbnails window smaller. I have a huge, wide display, and it’s hard to take in all the options at once when they are spread across a wide row on the screen. In 6.x, I set it to a maximum width of about 60%, which was perfect. I’d really appreciate it if this option were available again.
