Preview windows not showing latest app screens

Preview windows are not always showing what is actually in each window.
When I press Alt+Tab, does it not do a screen cap of every app?

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Press Alt+Tab
2. See some previews are stale (not what is displayed in the app when Alt+Tab is pressed. Seems like they get stale over time. For instance, my Chrome has Gmail as the active tab and no unread emails, but the Alt+Tab preview shows many unread emails from awhile ago

• AltTab version: latest
• macOS version: 17.1
• Other relevant info: e.g. using external keyboard, multiple monitors, etc

I'm not able to reproduce this issue. Previews are done on shortcut press, so they should not be stale.

Could you please share a video of the issue?

I would say the async load has pretty much taken care of this!
I actually see the app's preview in the AltTab switcher window update to the latest each app is displaying. I like that better because it seems like the preview is more "active/live".

I believe I'm also facing Issue #3845 and will comment in that thread.
