Use cases

• I need a spotlight icon next to my Heading "Featured apps". Those apps are picked by hand. By featuring them, we put the "beam of the spotlight on those apps" and therefore highlighting them as something special.
  

• On a blog, every month a "blogpost of the month" will be selected. This will be prominently featured on the home page. Next to the title is the spotlight icon to indicate, that this blog post is manually being highlighted.

I have a background in stage production. I think the style of the icon will better fit the rest of the library if it focuses on the spot itself and has a flat perspective.

Let us make sure that the tangents are as perfect as possible though, so that the corners won't become funky when a different size or stroke width is selected, e.g.:
