First of all a disclaimer - I am not asking for Linux Mint to enable the Snap Store, nor do I have any intention of installing/using any software in the snap format.

The third and fourth paragraphs of the "Centralised control" contain assertions that are no longer true, according to this article https://www.theregister.com/2023/11/10/snap_without_ubuntu_tools/

It is possible to set up and run your own Snap Store, and install snaps without authentication.

Again, I'm not asking for Linux Mint to enable the Snap Store, but highlighting this so that this section of the Linux Mint User Guide can be amended, so as to avoid future criticism of the Linux Mint project.
