Some configure scripts appear to run the host pkg-config:

checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config

This potentially can lead to wrong link paths or versions detected. A quick grep shows these need to be investigated/fixed:

  • build/log/cryptsetup.configure.log
  • build/log/gpg2.configure.log
  • build/log/libusb-compat.configure.log
  • build/log/lvm2.configure.log
  • build/log/pinentry.configure.log
  • build/log/qrencode.configure.log
  • build/log/tpm2-tools.configure.log
  • build/log/tpm2-tss.configure.log
  • build/log/util-linux.configure.log
