SWCAN seems to be hard coded as disabled:

cantact-pro-fw/sources/main.c

Line 223 in 66122d7

gpio_set_swcan_enable(0);

Seems like this should be stated in the documentation somewhere and also an alternate firmware compiled and offered for download that has SWCAN enabled.
