There is a TODO here about "being super incorrect" inside of fft_inner_parallel.

Low priority given this is to do with parallelization.

higher priority actually, i'm doing something super odd with unsafe stuff here
i think some of the bit operations are wrong too
not really sure. need to look more closely.
