Hi, this is not supported at the moment. How can one list locked files with smbstatus? For a quick solution, you could use that to build a script for the ExternalCommand check. |

Hi @languitar, thank you for your quick reply. As you mentioned, I went through the code and have seen two possibilities as well:
My setup is as follows (used to use powernap deamon before upgrading to 22.04.): I have a Ubuntu server running different services, one is sharing files via smb. The server usually sleeps and only wakes up on demand (wol package). So if I need a service I "manually" send a WOL package. Manually means the server only wakes up on WOL rather than a specific port/service request. For example kodi sends a WOL package on start up. I will try to dive deeper into python scripting, when I find the time. If I have a solution I will post it here or share the code. |

Hi,
thank you for this great project.
Is there a possibility within the smb check to look for "locked files" (i.e. listed via smbstatus)?
Reason is, that there are a lot idle connetions via smb, but there is no activity and the file server stays online without any need.
Thank you!
Cheers
Philipp
