What would it take to make Lance run on wasm?

One complication is that tokio does not run o wasm currently, and lance relies a lot on tokio. This issue tracks wasm / wasi support for tokio: tokio-rs/tokio#4827

Another way would be to remove the tokio dependency an explore other async runtimes such as https://rustwasm.github.io/wasm-bindgen/
