Tractor Mod is a SMAPI Mod for Stardew Valley. It adds a garage building which provides a tractor to help with your farm works. The tractor lets you quickly till dirt, sow seeds, fertilize soil, and water crop by simply walking over map tiles.

This version of TractorMod is outdated, since I no longer actively work on it since January 2017. However, there's a newer version available!

Require:

  1. Stardew Valley
  2. SMAPI: +1.1

Download here

Install:

  1. Get Stardew Valley $$$
  2. Install SMAPI
  3. Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods (just put TractorMod folder into /Mods folder)
  4. Run SMAPI

How To Use:

  • Normal:
    1. Buy Garage by using PhoneKey (Default is N).
    2. Wait for Garage to finish being built, and receive new Tractor afterward
    3. Get on the Tractor.
    4. Hold your hoe if you want to till dirt
      Hold water can if you want to water crop
      Hold seed bag(s) to sow seeds
      Hold fertilizer to fertilize tilled soil
      Hold scythe to harvest
    5. When done get off the Tractor to turn Tractor Mode off.
  • Mouse-Activating Mode:
    1. Get to your farm
    2. Turn on Tractor Mode by holding down appropriate mouse button (set by holdActivate in config.json). You will receive a speed buff showing that the Tractor Mode is now on.
    3. Hold your hoe if you want to till dirt
      Hold water can if you want to water crop
      Hold seed bag(s) to sow seeds
      Hold fertilizer to fertilize tilled soil
      Hold scythe to harvest
    4. After you are done with your farmwork, simply release right click to turn it off.
      The buff will go away showing that the Mode is now off.

Note:

  • Be careful when tilling your soil because the hoe can destroy your small-medium sized fruit trees.
  • Tractor Mode doesn't drain your stamina when using Hoe and Water can.
  • Water can doesn't need to be refilled but needs to have some water in it to work.
  • You can fertilize your crop AFTER sowing seeds with Tractor Mode.
