I noticed that the readme mentions that PHP 7 is required for this to work... While the next release will be actually 8.1+.

As saying PHP 7 is compatible is not wrong I didn't edit and suggest a straightforward change. I think adding a table may be a good idea.

But I have no clue about what you want to do about this so here is an issue highlighting the problem :) .
