This is a tracking issue for tasks that we are required to carry out during each cycle.

At the beginning of the cycle

• [@fabriziopandini] Bump minimum supported versions rif kubeadm: bump versions for v1.17 cycle kubernetes#83312 (v1.16 kubeadm: update the version constants for 1.16 kubernetes#80833)
• [@fabriziopandini] Add etcd version for v1.18 rif kubeadm: add 1.18 entry in the etcd map kubernetes#83314 (v1.16 kubeadm: add v1.17 to the list versions that map to etcd version kubernetes#81386)

When the 1.17 branch is created

• [@hypnoglow] Create E2E jobs for 1.17 rif Create E2E jobs for 1.17 #1879 and kubeadm: add 1.17 jobs for kind/kinder test-infra#15077 (v1.16 kinder: add 1.16 jobs #1744 and kubeadm: add 1.16 jobs for kind/kinder test-infra#14037)
• [@neolit123] Update the kubeadm upgrade docs for this release (v1.17 kubeadm: update the upgrade documentation for 1.17 website#17587)
