Hi @vivekzhere. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs or kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

just a context for my approve:

because the apps/v1 API is available since k8s v1.9 IMO the whole

if semverCompare "<1.9-0" .Capabilities.KubeVersion.GitVersion

magic is not needed in the chart, so replacing that directly looks ok to me

I'm still not quite sure but probably we should release the last beta release this week.
Right now we are doing some improvements for the migration job:)
