can you tell me about merits what to use homebrew/core formula instead of self-hosting formula?
currently, we can install the new versioned Evans immediately after bumping.
however, if we migrate to homebrew/core, maybe it takes a little time to be able to available latest version.
I believe the formulas in homebrew/core have some “official sanction,” which, for the average user, translates to, “This app isn’t malware created by someone random.” For the average user, I think it comes down to trust: it’s the difference between downloading a piece of software from an unknown third party and downloading it from “the source.” :-)
just as you said, it sounds good.
maybe I cannot move to homebrew/core immediately, because above reasons.
but I will consider it and migrate to there in the future 🍺
I think the wider community would love to see this on Homebrew.
