Why is computing scores uing 0.8 and -0.8 and not 0.5 and -0.5 #60

In this code which computes a match % based on your answers, partial support and partial objection answers are mapped to 0.8 and -0.8, instead to what I would find more intuitive 0.5 and -0.5:

Why is this? The original code this is based on (https://gist.github.com/borgar/5b59dc2d70d1a93bdce5e4fb15ec7d71#file-matchranking-js) has 0.5 and -0.5. The commit which made this change is not very descriptive: 3c9731b
