Please comment on this issue if you have ideas for how we could overcome the limitations of this project re 'gender', such as:

how we operationalize gender based on the tools we use (e.g., we're assuming binary gender classes because the tool we're using, the Gender API, has binary gender classes)
the language we use to talk about gender in our documentation and issues

or any other problems that you see! Please be kind in your suggestions; we're all learning 💖
