With other ebook readers, I am able to override the link styling (color and text-decoration), but I am unable to achieve this in the kepub reader on a Kobo. Is this explicitly prevented, or is there a way to override default link styles?
Background: I'm trying to create ebooks where tapping on a word shows a translation of the word/phrase in your native language (by using the epub3 footnote feature). This allows better translations than using a dictionary, since I can show the specific translation for the current context instead of a generic dictionary lookup. However, the text gets hard to read when a high number of words are styled as links. Therefore I would like to style these links more similar to normal text.
