Not an issue but more of a general wish for consideration.
In the document is very little about annotating ("bookmarking and note keeping" in) an epub in the document. A while ago I read this document - https://web.hypothes.is/blog/epub-annotation/. And I still wonder if it weren't just great if I could use Hypothesis to map my notes and highlights on the Kobo reader to the epub in Calibre and wherever else "a connector" exists. (It hasn't to be scientific as Hypothesis suggest; maybe on Goodread too - think o f Harry Potter annotated by the masses ;)).
It has to be open (not something bound to a Kobo account or Community), but it still would be an very interesting and distinguishing feature on the e-reader market.
