It seems that you choose "FreeLing" to extract words from your data. Please see tag set descriptions of FreeLing here: KH Coder picks up first 1 or 2 alphabets from POS names of FreeLing. |

Thank you for replying me on New Year's eve. And yes, i'm using Freeling to extract words. Sorry for didn't including this information. I didn't know anything about POS Tagging, untill now. I'm new to text minning. But please, let me introduce myself. I'd really like to mantain contact to you, given the ways my research is taking. At last, one final question. Readin the topic you indicated, i couldn'f find the acronyms "AJ", "AV" and "U". Could you help me? Thanks for you attention. |

Dear Vinícius Janick, If you see the list of actually extracted words, there should be no "AJ", "AV" or "U". Please go to "Tools", "Words", "Frequency List" in the menu and click "Excel" button in the lower right corner. Then click "OK" to verify it. It's a technical glitch that there are AJ, AV and U in some screens. If you want to delete them,
BTW, I would uncheck "OTHER", if I were you. I can say that finding trends of research in a specific field is one of a typical usage of KH Coder. And this "Issues" section is the best place to get help to use KH Coder. Best, |

The version I use is 3.Alpha.14.b [Perls 5.14.2, Perl/TK 804.03] fow Windows 10 64
As you can see in the image, the POSs are given in acronyms, and they are not in the manuals.
Could you tell me what each acronym means?
