Strange Z fighting on Marid

The fin, tusks, and shoulder... pokeys? are all having a bit of an issue rendering cleanly

uhhhh ... I am not sure if I am capable of fixing that haha
It's a geckolib model - does that z-fighting happen on 1.20.1 (or .4 not sure when the model was added) too?
Maybe it is something i have to ask them but then it would be good to know what broke it

It appears to be an issue in 1.20.1 as well.

It looks like something with the UVs is wrong on the model, I have to get in touch with the creator. I figured out how to fix it but it would take me forever as I am too inexperienced with this stuff :D
