본인 서비스에서 외부 서비스를 호출할 때 설정하는 timeout 기준은 어떻게 판단하면 좋을지?

보통은 권위있는 시니어가 하라는대로...

  • 성훈 : 결제 쪽에서 개발할 때, 단말기-중개서버-카드사 일 때 카드사의 타임아웃이 가장 짧고, 중개서버가 그 다음, 단말기가 가장 길어야 했음. 즉, 외부 서비스의 타임아웃보다는 우리 서비스 타임아웃이 더 길어야 한다.
  • 지우 : 비슷한 경험(역산해서 타임아웃 설정) 있음
  • 명재 : 실험해보고 대충 잡았음
