Hi,

That is a permissions issue in the browser, hopefully the following information (based on using Chrome) can help you resolve it.

First check you have the right mic and camera selected in the conference settings by clicking the 3 dots in the bottom right of the conference window and choosing settings

Turn on the mic and camera with the appropriate icons

Then click the icon (usually a camera icon) at the right hand side of the address bar and enable permissions for the site for your mic and camera

Try looking in site settings by clicking the lock icon at the right of the address bar to see if settings in there can enable the camera and mic.

Hello
I have manually set the permissions of camera and microphone, attached capture of how I have them. Continue with the same error.
The browser does not request camera or microphone permissions when it is accessed, I have tried it from Firefox and Chrome with the same result
I downloaded the last commit of kiwiirc, in case the error was that, but it continues.

Ok, that website is running a slightly newer version of the Jitsi Meet api - by the looks of it v3512 vs v3387 we are running on kiwiirc.com. We will look at updating to a newer version of Jitsi Meet and if you can get upgraded then hopefully that should fix your issue.

Could you tell me what OS, browser version etc your using to test so I can try and replicate and verify our upgrade when we have done it please?

Are you accessing the kiwi install from Chrome on CentOS or on Windows? If CentOS can you try connecting to that install from Chrome on Windows and confirming if the issue still persists please.

From the test above it looks like a version of jitsi-meet newer than latest stable may solve your issue. You can find them at https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet
