Would love to see a variant of the theme where the editor is white and the UI ist still dark (dimmed).

Sorry, my English stinks: you mean the sidebar should be white and the editor (where we write) should be dimmed/dark or the contrary?

the other way:
Sidebar & Titlebar: Dimmed
Editor: White
