initialAnimate doesn't work with step

When you use from/to or step for setup the current color, then initialAnimate doesn't work propertly.

Same problem for me.
When using from/to or step, and setting progress to an initial value, initialAnimate does not work.
Workaround is to set progress to 0 at start then update value to animate.
