Unable to highlight text right under the asbplayer overlay (Android)

The text that is directly below the overlay while using yomitan on my phone can't be selected. I'm watching YouTube videos.

I'm using the newest stable release, which I think is 1.5

You can see in the screenshot that text around the lower right area of the overlay widget can be selected but anything left of those characters is like a deadzone so I can't open yomitan child popups from that text area.
